The house is intentionally designed for the way this family lives and entertains, breaking the home into public, semi-public and private zones. The entrance is an intimate gallery guiding the visitor to descend a half level to the first floor with 12-ft. ceilings, with a wide kitchen open to family living and dining space, a wine cellar, spacious guest quarters, and a formal living room designed for both media entertainment and quiet conversation. A cantilevered deck overlooks the creek beyond. The second floor allows access to a spacious rooftop terrace with fireplace overlooking the creek and deck below.
The more private areas of the second floor feature an office, three bedrooms, a central utility roo, and a master bathroom with spacious shower and steam room, freestanding tub, Italian marble, and lots of natural light. After graduating from Baylor, Richard joined a Fortune 500 homebuilder where he quickly built a reputation for honesty, leadership and attention to detail. He developed a project management IT innovation that was ultimately adopted by the company. Subsequently, Richard was named to the Legacy Club, which ranked him among the top managers for customer satisfaction in the firm’s 50-year residential construction history.
As a Project Manager at Bauhaus Custom Homes and ArTex Development, Richard perfected his craft on a variety of ground-up single-family, multifamily, second story addition and remodel projects for celebrity and other discerning Dallas clientele.
