This Briarwood home was built by Shaddock Caldwell, designed by Janson Luter Architects, with interior design by Jordan Madison Interior Design.

The white brick exterior, with a polished flat metal roof and douglas fir facade, leads you into this 4,439-square-foot transitional home. Every nook of the 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath floor plan features abundant natural light, with aluminum-clad floor-to-ceiling windows thoughtfully placed throughout the first floor. The spacious kitchen showcases Dacor’s contemporary line of appliances. Modern brass accents pair with classic materials such as 5-inch white oak flooring and beams, as well as Leuders limestone
surrounding the large masonry fireplace at the heart of the home. French doors off of the back hall lead to a cozy covered patio overlooking the yard.

Upstairs, the exterior’s modern corner window is placed in a bedroom overlooking the front of the home. The main hall’s windows flood the space with great light, while leading visitors to the primary suite’s generous vaulted ceilings. Son of Peter Shaddock Sr., a Dallas homebuilding icon, Todd Shaddock previously spent over 10 years building homes as part of the Shaddock companies in Dallas. Beginning in the field as a builder, he would eventually serve as Vice President of Operations, where he played a crucial role in the construction of several hundred homes per year.

Ben Caldwell began his real estate career with LandPlan Development Corp. As an associate, he directly participated in the acquisition, development and disposition of real property, with a focus on land development and affluent single-family lot development.

Known for energy efficient green building, Shaddock Caldwell has been a D Magazine Best Builder honoree for the past 9 years.
